The GIOIA R290 range of showcases uses R290 (Propane) as refrigerant, a nontoxic flammable natural hydrocarbon with low global warming potential GWP (=3) that combines very satisfactory thermodynamic yields with environmental sustainability.
Ital Project cares about both the environment and user safety, which is why its R290 refrigeration systems are the result of careful design to minimize the risks posed by the presence of the flammable refrigerant.
Every selected component and material is approved for use with flammable gases, and the of display cases have been tested together with the VDE certification body according to the safety requirements in the reference standards for refrigerated display and sales cases, listed below.
